Dawnmote does not collect your data. There is no account, no server, and no analytics. Everything you record stays on your own device.

What we collect

Nothing. We do not operate a backend, and the app contains no networking code. We have no way to see your habits, your check-ins, your streaks, or anything else you enter.

Where your data is stored

All data — habits, check-ins, notes, colours and reminders — is stored in the app's private container on your device. The iOS Home Screen widget reads a copy through an Apple App Group container that is private to Dawnmote; it never leaves your device.

If you delete the app, that data is deleted with it. We cannot recover it for you, because we never had it. The app includes a JSON export so you can keep your own backup.

Third-party services

None. Dawnmote ships with no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK, no crash reporting SDK, and no social login. It works fully offline.

Purchases

In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your name, payment card, or billing address. Apple provides us only with an anonymous confirmation that a purchase was made, so the app can unlock Pro features. Apple's handling of that transaction is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled locally by iOS on your device. There is no push server and no notification token. You can turn them off at any time in iOS Settings.

Tracking

We do not track you across apps or websites, and we do not show advertising. Dawnmote does not request App Tracking Transparency permission because it has nothing to ask for.

Children

Dawnmote is rated 4+ and collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to disclose, correct or delete on request. You are in full control of the data on your device: export it at any time from Settings, or delete the app to remove it entirely.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be published on this page with an updated date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
